The idea
To aid in the ideation of my hand sanitiser dispenser i decided to look uo designs made by others in the community. After looking for awhile i found a few that were using arduino as their main electronic system which suited my design as i woul be using arduino as well in my design. Out of all the desgins i decided to go with one made by daichan blog
The picture above is daichan's design. Using this product as a template i design my own dispenser which fulfilled the requirements of the project
The design
I started by designing the dispenser itself using inventor so as to be able to get the drawings for laser cutting and also get my 3d models for printing
Afterwards i did the circuit design on tinkercad so as to simulate the dispenser
Fabrication and assembly
Now onto 3d printing and laser cutting
And with the dispenser parts printed and cut i did the arduino code
Final product and video
With all the individual pieces, i asssembled the dispenser and in the video below we can see the final product
